Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 11, 2026

Sooddy ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect at Sooddy.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

  • Account information — your name, email address and password (stored encrypted) when you register.
  • Content you submit — the text you convert to speech, and the resulting audio files, which we store so you can re-download them from your history.
  • Payment information — when you top up your wallet, our payment processors (PayPal, Paddle, NOWPayments, Polar) handle your card or crypto details directly. We only receive confirmation of the transaction, never your full payment credentials.
  • Usage data — IP address, browser type, device information and pages visited, collected automatically to keep the service secure and reliable.

How we use your information

  • To create and manage your account and wallet balance.
  • To generate the speech audio you request and make it available for streaming and download.
  • To process deposits and refunds and keep accurate transaction records.
  • To send essential account, billing and security emails.
  • To detect abuse, fraud and violations of our Terms and Conditions.
  • To improve the reliability and quality of the service.

How we store and protect your data

  • Generated audio and account data are stored on access-controlled infrastructure and are only ever served to the account that created them.
  • Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.
  • We use industry-standard encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) for all traffic to and from Sooddy.com.
  • Access to production data is limited to authorized staff who need it to operate the service.

Third-party services

  • Speech generation — your text is sent to our AI voice model provider to produce audio; it is used only to fulfil your request and is not used to build a profile of you.
  • Payment processing — PayPal, Paddle, NOWPayments and Polar process deposits under their own privacy policies.
  • These providers act only as service providers to us and are contractually restricted from using your data for their own purposes.

Cookies

  • We use a small number of essential cookies to keep you signed in, protect against cross-site request forgery, and remember your light/dark theme preference. See our Cookie Policy for full details.

Data retention and deletion

  • We keep your account, generation history and transaction records for as long as your account is active, and afterwards for as long as needed to meet legal and accounting obligations.
  • You can delete individual audio files from your history at any time, or request full account deletion by emailing us — we will erase your personal data except records we must legally retain.

Your rights

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate information.
  • Deletion — ask us to delete your account and associated data.
  • Portability — request an export of your generation history.
  • To exercise any of these rights, email contact@Sooddy.com from your registered address.

Children's privacy

  • Sooddy is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

  • We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date. Continued use of Sooddy after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
